South Carolina

So a few weeks ago my mother and I went on our annual mother/daughter getaway. This year we went to Georgetown SC for their annual plantation tour. I love all of those old plantation houses with the oaks dripping with Spanish moss. Gorgeous!! We stayed at the Mansfield Plantation. If you are ever in Georgetown I highly recommend it. It's about a mile and half off the main road and sits right on the river. You have to drive through an alley of oaks to the house and part of the movie, The Patriot was filmed there also. It is so peaceful there. Love it!
My mother and I
How gorgeous is this? And this house was completely empty.
What a waste that no one is living in this stunner.
Does this house look familiar? This is the house where Shag was filmed.
One of my favorite movies ever!
One of my favorites. My dream house.
The porch I long to have.....

Happy Birthday!

So my sweet little niece turned two on Sunday. That's right she got birthday presents and a visit from the Easter Bunny all on the same day. I can't believe how fast these past two years have flown by. And of course no little girls birthday is complete without a Dora cake.
Sweetness!

Engagement

I have so many favorites from this session it's hard to choose. But here's a few. I'm still sorting through them. These two met at NCSU so we spent the afternoon wandering around the campus trying to get some killer pictures. I must say it brought back quite a few memories being on that campus since I graduated from there as well 9 years ago. I can not believe it's been nine years already. Time flies. I can't wait to shoot their wedding in August. This first one is from the free expression tunnel on campus where people can graffiti anything there heart desires.

Where it all began.
Go Wolfpack!
An empty brickyard.
One of my new favorites.
Sweet. The bell tower.
