Three Little Monkeys: Part II

So I finally got to try out my new (to me) antique Victorian settee that I got at an auction a few weeks back. I love it. I think it will come in handy for kids shoots and I can't wait to do some bridals with it. Can't you just picture a bride sitting on it? So I did two shoots with it today but I can only show one for now. The other will have to wait until after Christmas. I guess I will have a few shoots that I can blog after Christmas. And yes I say Christmas, not Happy Holidays. Jesus is the reason for the season! My three favorite little ones....

Three Little Monkeys : Part I

So last night I took some shots of my three favorite little people as they are anxiously awaiting Santa Claus. They have the house decorated and are READY for the fat man! They were so cute in their matching pajamas. I on the other hand have yet to even start Christmas shopping or decorating, though I did listen to some Christmas music yesterday. It just seems like Christmas has come so fast this year. It feels like it was just summer a few weeks ago. Oh well I guess it's time for me to go in hibernation mode because I do not like the cold weather. Call me in June when the sun comes out.

The B Family

Can I just say how much I LOVE it when the parents get in the pictures? I definitely got my workout during this one. I met up with the B family on Sunday at one of my favorite spots, NCSU. Good times. Jessica was one of my sorority sisters in college. That seems like so long ago.... But anyway here are a few of my favorites.

I shot this gorgeous couple on Sunday. How cute are they? Casey used to be one of my Greenville buddies but now she has abandoned me and moved back home to Durham. I miss ya Case!! I can't wait for the wedding. I'm sure it will be so beautiful. Best Wishes you two.

I had the pleasure of shooting the most fabulous wedding this past weekend. The bride and groom were oh so sweet and so easy to work with. Even though it rained all day it was a beautiful day that I'm sure they will remember always. Congratulations and Best Wishes!!

Sorry I've been a little slack on the blog. But the sessions I've had lately I can't post yet. They will have to wait until after Christmas and after the wedding that I'm shooting this weekend. That's right, I have my first official wedding coming up this weekend and I'm really excited. I have so many ideas and can't wait to edit and post the pictures. So be on the lookout for those next week. Until then I'll leave you with an image of me practicing my second amendment right this afternoon. My Dad, nephew and I took turns shooting at some cans on the trees. What you don't do this on Sunday afternoons at your house? Yeah I'm a regular ol' Annie Oakley. I shot probably 7 or 8 times and I knocked the can off the tree three times. I think little man was a little impressed. He didn't know his ol' aunt was such a sharp shooter. But don't worry folks I don't bring a gun to photo shoots so your kids are more than safe!

Christmas Cards

A Christmas card reminder. If you are thinking of getting Christmas cards time is quickly running out. They are $1.75 a card and have to be ordered in increments of 25. The cards are 5 x 7 vertical folding cards with a front, inside and back design. If you are interested in a family Christmas photo session let me know ASAP.
