The boys...
How cute are these two little brothers in their matching Polo tops? Though you might not suspect them as brothers as the oldest has the bluest eyes and the younger one has dark brown eyes and white blond hair. For their shoot mom wanted some pics with this old car behind their house. When she told me she had an old car I had no idea it was this old. I love it! It looks like it's from the 1930's. Very vintage.

We Are Family...
So I'm finally able to post some of my sessions that I did before Christmas. These were kept on the d.l. until after the holidays because they were being used as Christmas presents. These two just happen to be members of the family. My parents each grew up with like 20-30 first cousins. I grew up with two. And this is one of them. Meet my cousin Michelle and her little boy. Well he's not so little anymore. How cute are they?

Christmas Play
The kids had their Christmas program at church this morning. Here's a few of the pics I took. We will be putting more on the church website soon. If any parents want any email me with your email addresses and I'll put them up on snapfish.
Let the children come to me, do not hinder them; for to such belongs to the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14

Drive Thru Live Nativity
Some pics I took out at the church last night. The stream of cars was definitely steady. It's not too late to go see the live nativity. They will be there again tonight and tomorrow night at Black Jack FWB. It looks great and everyone out there has worked really hard so please take your families out to see it. It's something fun, quick, easy, free and educational. What more could you ask for?

Drive-Thru Nativity
I almost forgot. If you are looking for something to do this weekend with your families our church, Black Jack FWB is having their live drive-thru nativity this weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 6:30-8:00.

in angels. They return the favor!
Some Christmas Party Rules. I got this as an email and I saw it on someone else's blog as well so I'm stealing it and passing it on b/c it's funny.
1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls.
2. Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. It's rare. You can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that it has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an eggnog-alcoholic or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it. Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Christmas!
3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.
4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission.
5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat other people's food for free. Lots of it. Hello?
6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.
7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave them behind, you're never going to see them again.
8. Same for pies. Apple. Pumpkin. Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day?
9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost.. I mean, have some standards.
10. One final tip: If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention. Re-read tips; start over, but hurry, January is just around the corner.

O' Christmas Tree
So I've been a little slack on the blog here lately but I've been so busy! And most of the sessions I've done lately I can't post until after Christmas because most are being used as gifts. So you'll just have to wait. Until then I'll leave you with some pictures of one of my favorite little girls. She came over and helped me put up my Christmas tree again this year. This is slowly becoming a tradition. She had so much fun doing it last year she couldn't wait to help out again this year. I don't know how I would have gotten it up without her. Is she precious or what?
