I shot a beautiful Christmas wedding this past weekend. I don't want to put any pictures of the bride and groom up yet since they are on their honeymoon. So for now I'll put a few up of the bridal party. This was a second marriage for both bride and groom so the wedding party consisted of their kids and a nephew. Talk about a good looking bridal party. I guess it doesn't hurt they are all teenagers. Oh, youth! The first three were taken in the classroom where the girls got ready. I loved the blue wall. Nice backdrop, huh?

So this past Sunday I went to my first NFL game courtesy of my wonderful father. I am a huge Chargers fan but San Diego is a long flight so we opted for the Cowboy/Charger game b/c it was closer and of course we wanted to see that new awesome Cowboy stadium. And it WAS awesome. The tv in there is 60 yards wide. It was huge and the HD was crystal clear. During the game you catch yourself looking at the tv almost as much as you look at the field. You just can't help it. So here's a few pictures. These were all taken with my little point and shoot camera and have not been edited in any way so please don't judge my photography off of these pictures. :) And also they are in random order.

The Chargers about to make a play. Me and my pops. Our seats were pretty good. After the game. Victory!!! And a little blurry. Pretty boy Phillip Rivers on the big screen. Rivers used to be the quarterback at my Alma mater, NC State University. Man does our football team miss him. The Cowboys taking the field. Notice the ginormous tv screen. 60 yards wide!
On the Saturday night before the game we went to the Fort Worth Stock Yards. They run (or some might say slowly stroll) cattle through the street twice a day. Man were they huge! The stock yards has lots of cowboy shops, restaurants, bars and all that jazz. And if you're looking to drop $2,000 on a pair of boots head over to Leddy's. Needless to say I did not make any purchases there. The General Store was more my speed.

This family did great for their shoot despite the fact that it was freezing that morning. The poor little one wanted to snuggle in her daddy's coat. And who could blamer her. It was so cold but they did great!

Yep. I know you can't believe this cuteness you're witnessing. I mean how precious!! And the girls outfits were made by the mom. She is oh so crafty with a sewing machine. If you're interested in her work let me know and I'll pass her name along to you. She does kids outfits and monogramming.

Over Thanksgiving weekend I had four family/kid shoots. Can you say Christmas rush? They were all so unbelievably adorable. I'm thinking Greenville has a pretty good monopoly on cute kids. I'll post the others later in the week but for now I'll leave you with these precious ones. Love the boots! I wish I could pull off the leggings and boot look.

So one of the most important things when planning your photo session to me is your style. Clothes can totally make or break a great picture. I love the urban/funky look, but hey it's not for everybody. But if it is I'm gonna give you a couple of links to some awesome sites for some totally cool clothes/accessories. First up, want to go for a total vintage look with your little one? Check out this site. Can you say awesome? I can just see a little one wearing those clothes in a field with the sun setting. I've spent the past few days in Chicago and can I just say the weather was much better in Chicago than NC if you can believe that. It's rained non-stop since I've gotten home. The reason I was in Chicago was to attend a photography workshop with the awesome Audrey Woulard. I've always loved her style and wanted to learn some of her tricks of the trade. She brought in some little models for us to shoot the first day and I thought I would share a few pictures of these cutie pies. They were so stinking adorable! Parents take note of these kids style. No need for the frilly dresses. Think jeans, hats, scarves and most of all bright colors!

Bald Head

This past weekend I shot a wedding on Bald Head Island in NC. It was awesome!! if you've never been to Bald Head I highly recommend it. It's gorgeous and oh so laid back. No cars allowed, only golf carts. I can't wait to get the pictures posted but in the mean time here's a little sneak peak of the crazy and insanely fun bridal party.

Here's a few more from my shoot on Friday. I'm in love with these pictures. This little one was the perfect little model. And how about those baby blue eyes? Gorgeous! I had three shoots on Saturday that I'm still working on. It's been a little busy over here lately. I'll try and put some of them up later this week. This first one is one of my new favorites.
